SPICY TOMATO CREAM WITH SARDINES
This spicy tomato velouté with sardines is the perfect recipe for a light and comforting dinner. It is both soft and sweet with just a touch of spice to spice it up. Ideal especially during cold winter nights.

INGREDIENTS
750g de tomates
150g of potatoes
200g of coconut milk
1 can of sardines in tomato sauce
¼ teaspoon turmeric
¼ tsp ground cayenne pepper
¼ paprika powder
2 cloves of garlic
A pinch of ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper
oil for cooking
PREPARATION
- Preheat the oven to 200 C.
- Cut the tomatoes in half, season them with salt, pepper and nutmeg, add the oil and the garlic cloves.
- Put in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, boil the potatoes.
- Using an immersion blender , mash the tomatoes and potatoes with the coconut milk until smooth.
- Add the sardine pieces and serve.
